Become a part of this new and exciting development, if you have something of interest you wish to share with the club please let us know. Remember, this is YOUR newsletter. The newsletter can be viewed and/or downloaded from the menu section of the website.

Atherton and Leigh Gala January 2010

If you wish to enter for the Atherton and Leigh Gale then please download and complete the Entry_Form. Also available for download is the Programme_Session. Remember, the completed form must be returned by the 4th December. Due to limited space there are only 20 spectator seats available, one peer family. These will be dispensed on a first come basis with any extras allocated later.

Equipment

A new addition to your web site, no excuse for not having the correct equipment.   Please take a moment to brows the Items for Sale section of the web site.   You can take advantage of our interactive order form, simply fill in the desired fields and select 'submit form by e-mail', simple as that.  For those techno phobias amongst us you may wish to print the form and hand deliver to David Bullock.  Please not you will require Adobe 7 or above.

WEB SHOP

  The web shop  is now up and running! Please have a browse at the wide range of suppliers and the super savings on offer. The club receive commission for every purchase made through the on-line shop. This is an easy way to support the club financially. You receive a bargain and the club receive a healthy commission from the supplier.

Swim 21 Accreditation Achieved (Feb 06)

Following success at the national Swim 21 panel on 15 February 2006 Ashton Central have achieved the Swim 21 Accreditation Silver Award at Teaching Club level. Ashton Central are only the second club in the area to achieve this prestigious award from the ASA. The award follows over two years of hard work by a number of people in the club. Special thanks go to all those who have contributed to this success. However, the work doesn't end there. We now need to continue improving the club's processes.

Swim 21 is the ASA's quality accreditation system for swimming clubs and covers the following aspects of club operations: Swimmer development, Teacher/coach development, Club Management and Partnerships. In a nutshell, Swim 21 is the ASA's “quality mark” which recognises clubs that demonstrate commitment to providing a safe, effective and quality swimming service. This document can be viewed or downloaded in the menu section of the website under 'Club Rules'.

The website and content are currently under construction and we apologize for the long delay.  We are asking parents and swimmers to contribute to the running of the website and welcome any suggestions you may have that will improve both appearance and content.  Your views are important to us and will be discussed during each committee meeting.

We are currently looking at developing a news letter which we hope to publish with the help and contribution from swimmers and parents.  If you would like contribute to the development of this news letter then please will you contact David Ashcroft using the link below expressing an interest.  Ashton Central Swimming Club would like to thank in advance those swimmers and parents who wish to be part of this new and exciting development.
